About the Experience

This 10-day program in Rwanda combines early childhood education, healthcare support, environmental action, and youth empowerment with Rwanda’s powerful story of recovery and resilience. Students stay at a lakeside resort on Lake Kivu, volunteer with Youth Uplift Initiative programs, and explore how compassion can be turned into action through community-led projects.

Base: Lake Kivu resort with open outdoor learning spaces, group work areas, Wi-Fi, and direct access to the lake for sunsets and reflection.

Support YUP's Early Childhood Development centres through storytelling, arts, play-based learning, and meal support for young children.

Join hospital outreach days focused on non-clinical support, cleanliness, and public health awareness campaigns.

Take part in community impact days: household support, water collection, home repairs, and neighbourhood clean-ups with local residents.

Lead or join environmental conservation and tree-planting activities with community groups, linking climate action to local livelihoods.

Spend a full day at the Youth Talent Hub for dance, arts, sports, leadership circles, and mentoring sessions with local youth.
